Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland provides a place for families to stay and food for them to eat while their child is hospitalized. We believe children heal when surrounded by family and it is our job to fill the need of the family so they can focus on the health of their child. Your donations help fill those needs.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Siouxland serves families in three ways: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Kitchens, and the Family Lunch Program. Families of hospitalized children (age 21 and younger) can spend as many nights as needed at the Ronald McDonald House. Families at Sioux City’s 2 hospitals have access to Ronald McDonald Kitchens in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Units. Those kitchens are stocked with heat-and-eat meals, snacks, and beverages. Monday through Friday, breakfast bags and sack lunches are delivered to the Ronald McDonald kitchens for the families to enjoy.
